Curating Space: A Bay Area Vision

“Since the beginning of time art has been the way in which we communicate visually as humans from sea to sea. A tradition that now takes form in different mediums, photography, hanging sculptures, digitally created, mixed media to the common acrylic, or oil paintings.”

What makes a great curator for a brand, or establishment? Art curators put exhibitions together in basic terms. But, the work that is done is not so simple. It takes an eye to see both before and after, how the space looks empty, and what will be viewed by visitors when occupied. Oakland, California is our base, and the art mecca of current times, with such great artists, and advanced companies, we enjoy linking the two together.

The works that are brought onto a site most often are designed by our creative directing team specifically for that location, when requesting the displaying of works by multiple artists, an artist call is sent out publicly, or privately as an invitation to our professional artist’s directory.

To be responsible for a gallery, business, or a private collection is a great responsibility that is handled with care by our company. Since the beginning of time art has been the way in which we communicate visually as humans from sea to sea. A tradition that now takes form in different mediums, photography, hanging sculptures, digitally created, mixed media to the common acrylic, or oil paintings.

Concept is what writes the story. Many businesses select to have art installed for a certain term, or permanently, and some hold large annual company art shows curated by Oasis Art Design. Private home, condo, and loft owners enjoy consultation with us, and purchasing of works to bring life to their walls. When assigned a project it is a great pleasure to work around themes. Color, texture, season, company branding, and current events. Continue following our story for more insight on Oasis Art Design.
